The Junior Accountant at Bios Engineering and Trading PLC plays a vital role in supporting the Finance Department by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This full-time position is designed for candidates with two years of experience as a cashier, petty cashier, or bookkeeper who are eager to grow their accounting skills in an office environment. The junior accountant will ensure compliance with financial regulations and contribute to the organization's overall financial efficiency. The role also includes assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in QuickBooks.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions timely.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory documents.

• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Maintain organized financial filing systems

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data entry.

• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools 

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data.

• Experience with QuickBooks for efficient financial management.

• Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
