Position Overview

CoffeeNet Trading PLC is seeking a Junior Accountant to manage junior level accounting tasks, maintain a secure filing system for all financial documents, and assist senior staff in finance department. This role requires skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree).

Key Responsibilities- 

 

• Cash Management: Handle daily cash, petty cash, check, and credit transactions, including issuing official receipts and preparing daily bank deposits.

• Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly/yearly closings, financial statements (balance sheets, income statements), and tax filings like VAT or withholding tax.

•  Organize and maintain a secure filing system for all financial documents, vouchers, and correspondence for audit readiness. 

• Technical Proficiency: Skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software(e.g., Peachtree).- Attention to Detail: Careful approach to verifying receipts, invoices, and bank statements to prevent discrepancies.

• Ethics: High level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial data.

• Flexibility: Willingness to assist with other administrative duties as assigned during highvolume periods, staff shortages, or changing project requirements.

Job Requirements

• BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (degree in Accounting is preferable)
   

• Work Experience and Skills:- Zero years of experience
