Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recording and posting financial transactions in Peachtree accounting software.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate cash flow records.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
