Job Summary

The Junior Architect will support architectural design, drafting, project coordination, and site activities while working closely with senior architects and project teams. The position offers an excellent opportunity for early-career architects to gain hands-on experience across various stages of architectural projects.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or with related field of study

• Experience: 0 year

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Duty Station: Gurd Shola Area, near Century Mall, Addis Ababa

• Salary: ETB 14,000 gross per month and Transport Allowance: ETB 2,200 per month

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents

• Support senior architects in project coordination and management

• Conduct site visits and assist with site assessments and analysis

• Participate in client meetings and project presentations

• Research building materials, construction methods, and applicable regulations

• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and standards

• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions

Skills & Competencies

• Strong design, drafting, and presentation skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional architectural environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines

• Working knowledge of: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, D5 Render, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
