Job Summary

The Junior Battery Charging Technician supports the day-to-day operations of Dodai’s battery charging facility by ensuring lithium batteries for electric motorcycles are safely charged, handled, and made available for swap stations. This is a hands-on, entry-level role focused on safety, discipline, and operational consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Charging Responsibilities

  • Safely receive, handle, and connect batteries to charging units.

  • Follow standard procedures to charge batteries efficiently and correctly.

  • Monitor charging progress and ensure batteries are charged within required parameters.

  • Separate and organize batteries (charged, uncharged, faulty) according to process.

  • Perform basic visual inspections to identify damaged or unsafe batteries.

  • Maintain an accurate log of battery movement, charging status, and issues.

  • Keep the charging facility clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.

  • Immediately report faults, incidents, or abnormal battery behavior to the supervisor.

  • Support daily operational tasks to ensure smooth battery flow to swap stations.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Strictly follow all safety rules and PPE requirements (safety shoes, gloves, etc.).

  • Never operate or handle batteries in an unsafe manner.

  • Immediately escalate any safety risks, damaged batteries, or incidents.

  • Follow emergency procedures related to fire, overheating, or battery failure.

  • Participate actively in safety briefings and training.

  • Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum: TVET / Diploma or equivalent (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred).

  • 0–2 years of experience in operations, warehouse, or technical roles (fresh graduates encouraged).

  • Willingness to learn lithium battery handling and safety practices.

  • Physically able to lift and move batteries.

  • Able to follow instructions and procedures consistently.

Working Conditions
