Position Summary:

The Junior Finance Officer/Accountant supports financial operations including billing, insurance claims, financial reporting, and compliance. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and the ability to manage healthcare-related financial systems.

Job Requirements

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience (preferably in healthcare)

Job Competencies:

• Proficiency in Excel, Peach Tree, and accounting software

• Knowledge of IFRS, tax filing, and cost accounting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and payable

• Assist in preparing financial statements

• Review expenses and payroll records

• Maintain financial databases

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports

• Support month-end closing and reporting

• Monitor cash flow and budgets

• Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations

• Handle bank reconciliation

• Manage accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll)

• Coordinate with auditors and government bodies

• Process payments and financial transactions
