The Financial Specialist will be responsible for supporting the finance team in managing and optimizing the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process. This role ensures accurate processing of vendor invoices, timely payments, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with procurement, finance, and operational teams to facilitate smooth transactions, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify payment requests, ensuring all approvals and supporting documents are complete.

  • Execute government-related payments and manage withholding tax documentation.

  • Manage petty cash, cash collections, and reconciliations.

  • Liaise with banks for payments, deposits, and document handling.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls throughout the P2P process.

  • Support financial accounting processes, including monthly accruals, prepayments, and general ledger reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards and internal financial policies

  • Maintain SAP master data, ensuring accuracy in customer, vendor, material, and general ledger records

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and risk management frameworks.

  • Support audits and internal control processes by providing accurate financial documentation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and financial reporting tools.

  • Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and numerical accuracy.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
