I. Technical Support & Help Desk:
First-Level Support: Provide initial technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, acting as the first point of contact for IT problems.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems such as connectivity issues, printer problems, software malfunctions, and user account lockouts.
Ticketing System Management: Log, track, prioritize, and close support tickets efficiently using an IT help desk or ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
User Account Management: Assist with the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts and permissions across various systems (e.g., Active Directory, email).
Software Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and update software applications on user workstations and other devices.
Hardware Setup: Assist with setting up and configuring new computers, peripherals (printers, scanners), and other IT equipment.
II. System & Network Assistance:
Basic Network Support: Assist with monitoring network connectivity, troubleshooting basic network issues (e.g., Wi-Fi problems), and ensuring network devices are operational.
Server Room Monitoring (Under Supervision): Perform routine checks in server rooms, such as verifying equipment status (lights, fan noise), ensuring proper cooling, and reporting any anomalies.
Backup Assistance: Support the execution and monitoring of data backup processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks like disk cleanup, file organization, and system health checks on workstations and servers (under supervision).
Cabling: Assist with organizing, installing, and maintaining network and power cabling.
III. Inventory & Documentation:
IT Asset Management: Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets, including tracking deployments, returns, and disposals.
Documentation: Contribute to creating and updating IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting steps, and IT asset records.
Knowledge Base Contribution: Help build and maintain the IT knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
IV. Security & Compliance (Under Supervision):
Security Best Practices: Adhere to and promote IT security best practices, including password policies and secure file handling.
Antivirus Management: Assist with ensuring antivirus software is up-to-date and operational on all devices.
User Training: Provide basic training to users on IT policies, security awareness, and efficient use of technology.
Education: BSC Degree in Information Technology or computer Science
Experience: 1 year and above
