Raval Steel Manufacturing PLC, located in the Bahir Dar Industry Zone, is the largest steel factory in the Amhara Region, producing high-quality steel products for the local and regional market.

The Junior Local Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from local suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role requires strong supplier relationship management and attention to quality and delivery timelines.

Reports To: Procurement Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify local suppliers for raw materials and other goods.

• Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.

• Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to forecast needs.

Job Requirements

• BA degree in Supply Chain Management or related business field.

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing company.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications & Requirements- up to 20,000 gross monthly salary based on negotiations.
