Job Description:
Minaye Construction & Properties Division is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Office Engineer to support our project documentation and coordination efforts. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure smooth administrative and technical workflow from the head office.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, review, and organization of project documents, technical drawings, method statements, and progress reports.
Support coordination between site engineers, project managers, and contractors under the guidance of senior staff.
Help ensure project documentation complies with company quality standards and safety regulations.
Assist in tracking project progress, budgets, and schedules; help prepare basic reports for senior management.
Support quantity surveying processes, cost estimation, and material tracking.
Learn and apply best practices in office engineering and document control.
Perform other administrative and technical tasks as assigned by senior office engineers.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSc) or Construction Technology & Management (COTM).
Preferred universities: AASTU, AAU, ASTU graduates are highly encouraged to apply.Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in construction or project coordination, and internships or final-year projects in office engineering, project coordination, or documentation are advantageous.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with MS Project
Basic knowledge of contract documentation and local building codes is desirable.
