Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role is perfect for recent pharmacy graduates or individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications as per prescriptions.

• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and offering medication-related advice

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Support senior pharmacists in managing inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates of medications.

• Participate in medication therapy management and provide information on drug interactions and side effects.

• Help in conducting health screenings and immunization services as required.

• Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and pharmacy regulations to provide accurate information to patients and healthcare professionals.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. from an accredited institution.

• Valid pharmacy license or eligibility for licensure in Authorized institution.

• 1-3 years and Above of community retail pharmacy (dispensary) experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.

• Proficient in using pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is a plus but not required.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
