1. GENERALJob Title:Junior Product Certification AuditorReports to:Manager, Certification DepartmentDepartment/Service:Certification Department

 2. KEY FUNCTIONS:

Under the close supervision of the department manager and in accordance with general policies, procedures and accreditation of the company and national and international conformity assessment standards, procedures and requirements for certification of products and systems, undertakes noncomplex types of evaluations for certification; 

develops and implements evaluation schedules; participates in training, consulting, research and

Development activities; and actively absorbs all training and coaching schemes provided to him/her.

 3.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertakes non-highly complex types of evaluations for certification of products and systems, prepares audit reports and submits for review and certification decision in accordance with general policies, procedures and attained accreditation of the company as well as national and international conformity assessment standards, procedures and requirements;

• Develops evaluation schedules for certification and ensures their efficient and timely implementation;

• Assists in the design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of appropriate operating systems procedures, manuals, guidelines and instructions in accordance with national and international standards, procedure and requirements, particularly in compliance to ISO Guide 65 and ISO 17065;

• Reviews audit reports of junior auditors and submits to the department manager with recommendation for decision making;

• Takes part in joint review of audit process, reports and certificate processes;

• Checks that conditions and scopes of accreditations and delegations to use Standard Marks are consistently adhered to and comes up with recommendation on course of action in cases of deviations;

• Assists in the day-to-day coordination and execution of evaluations, service contract creation, logistical planning, liaising with clients, reviewing and finalizing application reports for certification to be submitted to the department manager for decision;

• Interacts with customer service and marketing units to obtain customer complaints, identifies root causes and comes up with recommendations on necessary corrective measures;

• Participates in activities of promoting and marketing the services of the department;

• Keeps abreast with latest national and international developments in conformity assessment and certification;

• Participates in training, consulting, research and development activities of the company;

• Absorbs actively all training and coaching schemes provided to him/her;

• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Department Manager.
