As a dynamic and rapidly growing company, we are looking for a talented Junior Quality Assurance engineer to join our team.

The Junior QA Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of YaYa Wallet’s software products through comprehensive manual and automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and compliance officers to validate financial transaction flows, meet regulatory standards, and enhance customer trust.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile wallet applications, payment systems, and backend services.

  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools; collaborate with developers for timely resolution.

  • Validate financial transaction processes, including bank transfers, merchant payments, bill payments, remittances, and scheduled transactions.

  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, data privacy).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality at all stages of development.

  • Maintain test documentation and provide clear reports on testing progress and defect trends

  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software testing/QA (manual and automated), preferably in fintech, banking, or digital payments.

  • Certification in QA/software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and load testing.

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum

  • Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools

  • Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)Basic knowledge of databases/SQL for transaction and data validation

  • Awareness of security testing practices and compliance standards
