The Junior System & Network Engineer will support the IT team in maintaining and monitoring Linux servers, network devices, and internal systems. This role is ideal for IT graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in system administration, networking, and IT project support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Ubuntu servers.

•  Monitor system and network performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate when necessary.

• Assist in user account management, permissions, and access control.

• Support deployment of internal applications and perform routine system backups.

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Participate in IT project activities under guidance, including basic infrastructure setups.

• Document system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize server and network performance.

Job Requirements:

•  Education; Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience: 0-1 year

•  Basic knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu server administration.

•  Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or similar).

• Basic scripting skills (Bash or Python is a plus).

• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
