Title: Lead Landscape Architect

- Full time

Job summary The Lead Landscape Architect is responsible for spearheading the design (hardscape and softscape designs) , planning, and execution of diverse landscape projects from concept through to completion. providing high-level professional support in the area of landscape design and serving as the company ambassador, meeting all expectations and procedures for the company's standard landscape designs.

Summary of Job Roles

• Lead the creation of innovative, functional, and aesthetically striking landscape concepts, master plans, and detailed landscape designs

• Integrate sustainable practices, native horticulture, and innovative hardscape/softscape solutions into all designs.

• Site analysis that considers the broad economic, social, ecological, and aesthetic considerations of a place/space.

• Develop hardscape and softscape landscape construction drawings and softscape BOQ (plant list and quantity) • Lead, Mentor, guide, and manage a team of junior landscape architects, horticulturalists, and CAD designers.

• Lead and coordinate various projects to ensure quality, standards are met, and executed on time.

• Day-to-day garden design works, plant selection, materials selection, site designs, and plantation design.

• Be part of and/or lead in design concept development and any meetings related to design and landscape construction works.

• Provide high-level design drawings, details, 3D renderings, and documents. And oversee production quality.

• Establish standard design workflows, review team deliverables, and foster a collaborative, creative studio environment.

• Coordinate seamlessly with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and site engineers to translate designs into physical realities.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues in the field, and ensure construction aligns with design intent

Job Requirements

Experience/education requirements

• A total minimum of 5 years of architectural and 3 years of landscape project work experience

• A Master’s degree in Landscape design is highly preferred

• High proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, 3DMax, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Technical knowledge of landscape architecture, flowers, trees, general plant types, and site development elements.
