Job Position: Legal Aid
Purpose of the Job: To facilitate court related & foreclosure issues of the Bank through opening court files, managing subsequent court related issues and keeping accurate record of all cases.
Generic Functions:
Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank
Provide to the concerned organ with timely, accurate, and complete reports
Implement timely corrective action on deficiencies and issues that have been raised or reported by different internal and external regulatory bodies
Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary
Specific Functions:
Gather, organize and analyze the initial facts of a legal problem
Manage court dates, hearing schedules, and filing deadlines for the legal team.
Update on the status of cases and explain complex legal jargon in simple, empathetic terms
Organize physical and digital case files and ensure all court documents are filed correctly and on time
Serve notices to defaulting borrowers, defenders, plaintiffs, witnesses and respondents.
Obtain court summons and serves same to the addressee
Collect documents and other materials from different organs in order
Follow up foreclosure cases at city municipality and pertinent governmental organ
Perform other related duties given by the supervisor
Job Requirement:
Qualification: Diploma or Diploma Equivalent in law or business-related fields
Experience: 2 (Two) years of relevant experience
