Job Requirements

 Education and experience requirements

  • LLB in Law or related field with four[K1]  years relevant work experience out of which two years in higher position of legal advisor or related areas. OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field with six [K2] years of relevant work experience out of which three years in higher position of legal advisor or related areas.

          Knowledge and Skill Qualifications

The following are among the required knowledge, skill and abilities qualifications the Manager Legal Services should have:

  • Thorough legal knowledge; 

  • Experience in negotiation, litigation and general commercial law;

  • In-depth understanding of the court’s legal procedures and government regulations;

  •  Excellent negotiator with strong communication and presentation skills;

  • Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office;

  • Focus on delivering quality service to clients and the firm;

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced business; 

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to details;

  • A strong employment and or service history that reflects, litigation and negotiation activities and teams engagement;

  • Ability to persuade and influence others; 

  • Skill in using computers and related soft-ware;   

  • Excellent interpersonal skill;

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence;

  • A team player, and strong problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence;

  • Analytical abilities to make sound decisions, logical interpretations, and to review and interpret analytical reports and financial statements; and

  • Strong skill set in prioritizing, strategizing, meeting deadlines and following up on assignments and roles and responsibilities with minimum supervision. 

The following are among the preferred skills and qualifications the Manager Legal Services should have:

  • Experience in litigation and negotiation;

  • Extensive knowledge of law;

  • Collaboration skills for establishing positive working relationships; and

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and accomplish business objectives[K3] .
