Job Purpose

The Liaison Officer is responsible for facilitating effective communication and coordination between the company, government offices, regulatory authorities, clients, and other external stakeholders. The role ensures timely processing of permits, approvals, licenses, official documents, and other regulatory requirements while supporting smooth business and project operations.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in liaison, government relations, administration, or a similar role.

  • Experience in the construction, real estate, or related industry is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with government offices, regulatory authorities, municipalities, and other relevant institutions on behalf of the company.

  • Facilitate the processing and follow-up of permits, licenses, approvals, certificates, and official documents.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect and submit required documents to external authorities.

  • Maintain proper records of applications, submissions, approvals, renewals, and related correspondence.

  • Follow up on pending applications and regulatory requirements to ensure timely completion.

  • Represent the company professionally in meetings and official communications with external stakeholders.

  • Monitor changes in government procedures, regulations, and requirements relevant to company operations and projects.

  • Support project teams in obtaining necessary construction, development, and operational approvals.

  • Prepare regular status updates and reports on permits, applications, and pending matters.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with government institutions and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure all liaison activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of government procedures, permits, licenses, and regulatory processes.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments.

  • Professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders.
