Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is a national Non-Governmental Organization registered in accordance with the proclamation for Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No 1113/2019 with a certificate No 0022. MCMDO is currently implementing emergency response and development projects in all regions and City Administrations in Ethiopia.
To meet its objectives MCMDO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant position.
Job Summary:
The Logistics, Admin, and Finance Officer is responsible for the operational and financial integrity of the project in Yalo Woreda. This role integrates financial management, procurement, and human resources to ensure that to utilized transparently and that life-saving supplies reach the field without delay.
Core Duties:
Financial Management
Monitor project expenditures against the CBPF budget lines, ensuring all costs are eligible, documented, and approved.
Manage field-level petty cash and coordinate with HQ for timely fund transfers to support field activities.
Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and ensure all receipts and vouchers meet auditready standardsConduct regular site visits to the Women and Girls Friendly Space (WGFS) and IDP collective sites to monitor service quality
Procurement & Logistics
Lead the procurement of Dignity Kits, MHPSS supplies, and office equipment in compliance with MCMDO and donor policies.
Coordinate the transport and secure storage of kits and materials to remote kebeles.
Oversee vehicle scheduling for mobile teams and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all project assets.
Administration & HR
Manage the daily administration of the Yalo field office, including lease agreements and utility management.
Maintain personnel files for field staff and oversee the timely payment of Caseworker stipends.
Ensure all operational activities strictly adhere to MCMDO’s internal controls and donor regulations.
Ensure all protection activities adhere to "Do No Harm" principles and international survivor-centered standards.

Job Requirements
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics/Supply management or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and operations, specifically within an NGO setting.
Experience with CBPF/UN-funded projects is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree/Sage).
Strong understanding of humanitarian procurement principles (transparency, value for money)
Language & Communication
English & Amharic: Professional fluency (written and spoken) is mandatory
Ability to coordinate effectively with local vendors and government offices.
Soft Skills & Physical Requirements
Ability and willingness to live and work full-time in a remote, high-temperature, and highstress environment with basic infrastructure.
Absolute commitment to PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) and the MCMDO Code of Conduct.
High level of integrity, detail-oriented, and capable of working in remote, high-pressure environments.
