The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its institutional strength with a special focus on the enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for the Logistics Assistant position who meet the following requirements.

Salary: As per the organization's salary scale (Competitive)
Logistics Assistant is responsible for supporting the department head in logistics-related functions and office management.
Under the supervision of his immediate supervisor, receives election materials and handles them in good condition.
Assist with activities during the packing and dispatching of election materials.
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the proper appearance of both the interior and exterior of the warehouse.
Should adhere to safety procedures and ensure effective mitigation of potential hazards.
Based on the direction of his immediate supervisor, updates the receipt and issue of materials (Compute Available Balance).
Perform various clerical duties, such as data input, filing, and mailing.
Process payments and other administrative documents.
Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and other logistics activities.
Utilize logistics management software to track shipments and prepare data for reports on stock status and movement.
Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth coordination.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, operation, and training, to align and meet with election objectives.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed by his immediate supervisor.
Specification:
Education and Work Experience:
MA or BA Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Transport Management, or any other related fields.
0 years for Masters or 3 years for BA In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Fleet, and related job positions
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes and terminology.
