The Maintenance & Utility Manager oversees the upkeep, repair, and operation of the school’s buildings, utilities, and facilities. This role ensures all systems operate efficiently, comply with safety regulations, and support the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily maintenance operations and schedules.

• Supervise technicians, contractors, and support staff.

• Oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems.

• Respond to repair requests and emergencies promptly.

• Monitor and control utility usage for cost efficiency.

• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

• Keep accurate maintenance logs and reports.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Education:

• Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance

• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety codes.

Skills & Competencies:

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.

Work Conditions:

• On-site presence during working hours; available for emergencies.

• Occasional evening or weekend work for urgent repairs or school events.
