About Our Client
Habesha Steel Mills PLC operates its main manufacturing facility in the industrial town of Dukem, approximately 39 km from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The company specializes in the production of deformed reinforcement bars using advanced German QST Technology, serving major construction and infrastructure projects nationwide.

Position: Maintenance Civil Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Duty Station: Dukem, Ethiopia
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Important: Candidates must reside in Dukem, Bishoftu, or nearby areas, as transportation service will not be provided.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise routine civil-related maintenance activities within the factory compound
• Oversee both in-house and outsourced maintenance teams
• Supervise work related to plumbing, painting, masonry, minor structural repairs, and other civil-related tasks
• Coordinate electrical and related maintenance works in collaboration with technical teams
• Ensure timely execution of maintenance schedules and corrective works
• Monitor quality standards and compliance with safety regulations
• Prepare maintenance reports and submit regular updates to management
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance programs
• Support cost control and proper utilization of materials and labor

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in factory or industrial maintenance operations
• Experience supervising technical maintenance staff is an advantage
• Basic understanding of factory compound infrastructure maintenance
• Strong coordination and supervision skills
• Good communication and reporting ability
