Job title: Maintenance Worker 

Employment term: Full time

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and building systems including roofing and flooring/ground works, electrical works, plumbing works on water and sewerage systems, painting works etc.

• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce unexpected breakdowns and downtime

• Handling repairs and maintenance

• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them

• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

• Responding to maintenance requests from various hospital departments

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including safety  inspections according to checklists 

• Keeping the cleanliness of machines ,equipment’s and tools

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

• Spoken English and Amharic 

• Polytechnic school graduates with TVET qualification preferred

• Previous exposure to similar maintenance works
