You are required to meet the following:

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager, Talent Management and Development, leads the overall HR Operations across the Bank. The role ensures alignment of human capital initiatives with the Bank’s strategic objectives and fosters a high-performance, employee-centric culture. The jobholder is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating a comprehensive range of human capital functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and succession planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & HR Operations

  • Coach and counsel managers on HR operations and people strategies.

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and internal regulations.

  • Oversee equitable treatment of employees to drive engagement and improve working conditions.

  • Manage HR records and ensure data accuracy for audits and decision-making.

  • Identify and address employee relations issues effectively.

Compensation, Benefits & Workforce Planning

  • Engage in the design and implement competitive, cost-effective compensation and benefits programs.

  • Engage in workforce planning initiatives to ensure business continuity.

  • Develop and monitor department budgets to ensure optimal resource use.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Direct talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Strengthen employer brand to attract and retain top talent.

  • Lead initiatives that improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Learning, Development & Succession Planning

  • Develop Bank-wide learning and development strategies.

  • Oversee training needs assessments and competency gap analysis.

  • Foster a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Engage in succession planning and career pathing programs for future leadership.

  • Oversee internship and management trainee programs.

Performance Management & Organizational Development

  • Ensure integration of performance management systems with strategic goals.

  • Provide thought leadership in managing organizational transformation and change.

  • Continuously improve HR programs and processes through innovation and feedback.

People Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop HR Operations and HR Development staff.

  • Evaluate staff performance and support career growth.

  • Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience:

  • Master’s degree/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Management or related field with 6/8 years of  work experience out of which 2 years of experience as Principal/Team leader/Senior Officer in talent management & development areas preferably in a sharia compliant financial institution. Professional Certification in HRM is advantageous

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong understanding of HR governance and ethical standards in a Sharia-compliant, interest-free banking context.

  • Broad experience across all HR functions, including talent strategy, L&D, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and build leadership capacity.

  • Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Effective communicator with proven experience in executive coaching and team facilitation.
