Role Overview:
To provide accurate, timely, and well-documented market price data to the bidding/estimating team to support cost estimation and proposal development.
To Assess supplier capabilities, reliability, quality standards, and past performance to ensure sourcing integrity.
To Maintain clear, traceable documentation of all inquiry and quotation activities in accordance with company policies and tender compliance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research and price inquiries from suppliers (market materials), subcontractors, and vendors to support accurate tender/bid pricing.
Collect, verify, and analyze current market rates for materials, equipment, labor, and services relevant to project bids.
Prepare and compile quotation summaries and cost breakdowns for inclusion in bid submissions.
Proficient in using office software and has experience in bidding and pricing.
Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks that may impact bid competitiveness.

CCECC Ethiopia Construction PLC is a subsidiary of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) responsible for market development and management in Northeast Africa. Established in June 2012 with headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the company oversees business development and project management across six countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Djibouti, South Sudan, Somalia, and Eritrea.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 3-5 years , must be in construction sector.
Soft Skills: Ms. Office, Ms. Project and Meeting software (Zoom & Google Meet)
Technical Skills:
Fluent in English
