Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience

1. BA/MA in Business Administration, International Trade, Economics, or related field

2. 5+ years’ experience in import/export or international trade

3. Coffee export experience is a strong advantage

4. Strong leadership, negotiation, and market development skills

5. Knowledge of customs, trade compliance, EUDR, and ERP/ODOO preferred

Core Competencies and Skills

1. Market Analysis & Strategy: Ability to identify new markets and develop competitive market-entry strategies

2. Negotiation & Contract Management: Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills with suppliers, buyers, and logistics partners

3. Problem Solving: Strong decision-making skills under pressure, particularly in logistics disruptions, customs clearance issues, and market expansion challenges

Additional Skills

1. Knowledge of local and international tax and customs regulations

2. Understanding of international trade laws and compliance requirements

3. Practical experience in complying with EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requirements for coffee export operations

4. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and ERP and ODOO systems
