Save the Children International is seeking a qualified MEAL Officer to support its Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance program in Addis Ababa. The role is critical for ensuring that humanitarian cash assistance reaches intended beneficiaries effectively and transparently. By establishing robust monitoring systems, the officer will enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage MEAL tools for beneficiary registration and monitoring
  • Compile and submit regular MEAL reports to WFP and Save the Children
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with donor and SCI standards
  • Support capacity building and training of field staff

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc/BA/MSc/MA in statistics, economics, social science or equivalent (MSc preferred)
  • Minimum three years of MEAL experience in emergency/development settings
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and local languages
