Role Purpose

The Mechanic-Driver/Purchaser will ensure safe operation and maintenance of project vehicles and support procurement functions. This dual role is vital for safeguarding assets, facilitating staff mobility, and ensuring transparent, timely, and compliant purchasing aligned with donor and organizational standards.

Key Duties

  • Operate and maintain project vehicles safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct routine inspections, log mileage/fuel, and perform minor repairs.

  • Process purchase requests, collect quotations, and ensure fair vendor selection.

  • Verify goods/services against specifications and maintain procurement records.

  • Facilitate staff travel arrangements and support logistics/administration.
