ATTA Trading is looking to hire a highly capable Mechanical Engineer for its Olompiya Site. The candidate must have proven experience in high-rise building projects, with a strong background in mechanical design. The role requires solid experience in material requisition and material management, as well as the ability to manage site work, subcontractors, and labor teams. Knowledge of IT systems related to design and project management will be considered an added advantage.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in mechanical design, site supervision, project management, material requisition and management, subcontractor coordination, and labor management. In addition, knowledge of IT systems relevant to engineering and project management is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review mechanical design drawings, calculations, and specifications for high-rise building projects.

  • Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

  • Manage material requests, procurement processes, and inventory control to ensure efficient material use.

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site laborers to achieve project objectives.

  • Provide technical support and problem-solving during design and construction phases.

  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of mechanical systems, installations, and equipment.

  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare progress reports, work schedules, and cost monitoring.

  • Implement IT-based solutions (AutoCAD, Revit, project management software, or equivalent tools) for design, planning, and reporting.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience, particularly in high-rise building projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and site supervision.

  • Excellent knowledge of material requisition, procurement, and supply chain management.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and labor teams effectively.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).

  • Knowledge of IT systems as applied to engineering, design, and management.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
