ATTA TRADING PLC is seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Technicians specializing in HVAC and duct installation to support the Mehal Olympia Real Estate Project in Addis Ababa. The selected candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of galvanized sheet and duct systems in accordance with approved engineering drawings and project specifications.. This role is a fixed-term contract designed for professionals specialized in structural HVAC and ductwork fabrication and execution.

Job Requirements

Education:

• TVET certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Technology, HVAC, Sheet Metal Fabrication, or with related field of study

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of proven, hands-on experience working on active commercial or residential real estate construction sites.

• Demonstrated technical proficiency specifically in mechanical galvanized sheet and duct installations.

• Hands-on experience in commercial or residential construction projects,

Duties & Responsibilities

• System Installation: Fabricating, assembling, and installing mechanical galvanized sheets and duct systems according to approved engineering drawings and site specifications.

• Site Execution: Carrying out localized mechanical installation assignments to meet critical project acceleration timelines.

• Quality Compliance: Maintaining strict adherence to ATTA TRADING PLC’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards to minimize rework and ensure structural integrity.

• Safety & HSE: Utilizing standard site Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and observing rigorous safety guidelines on-site.

• Material Handing: Inspecting received galvanized sheets and installation materials for defects before beginning assembly work.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprint layouts

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machinery,

• Work efficiently within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment while ensuring compliance with company quality management and HSE procedures.

• Strong technical skills in mechanical installations,

• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards on-site.
