We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Equipment Store Keeper with a background in Pharmacy to manage and oversee our medical inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring proper storage and handling, and implementing effective inventory control measures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Ensure accuracy of data entry and real-time inventory tracking.

  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify storage trends and areas for improvement.

  • Provide regular inventory status updates to senior management.

  • Notify supervisors and appropriate personnel about potential stock shortages, damaged goods, or other issues.

  • Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming medical devices against purchase orders and delivery notes.

  • Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.

  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of incoming and outgoing materials.

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area.

  • Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to manage stock rotation and prevent expiry dates.

  • Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity) for temperature-sensitive items.

  • Prepare reports related to inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant data.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Pharmacy

  • Expereince: 1 - 2 years of Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.

  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment and devices is preferred.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

  • May require lifting and handling medical equipment and supplies.

  • May involve occasional travel between different storage sites or medical facilities.
