JOB SUMMARY

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory examinations and tests according to approved procedures.

• Receive, prepare, and process laboratory specimens.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.

• Record and verify laboratory results accurately.

• Follow laboratory quality-control procedures.

• Maintain laboratory safety and infection-prevention standards.

• Ensure proper storage and disposal of laboratory materials.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.

• Report equipment or testing-related issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology.

• Valid professional license/registration.

• Previous laboratory experience is an advantage.

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety standards.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
