Position Overview:

Dream Orthopedics, Trauma and Spine Center is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist. The ideal candidate must hold a BSc Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and have at least one year of relevant work experience.

Key responsibilities 

• Specimen Collection & Handling

• Receive, label, and verify patient samples accurately.

• Ensure proper storage and transportation of specimens.

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, parasitology, etc.).

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.

• Prepare reagents and standard solutions.

• Validate and verify test results before reporting.

• Perform daily internal quality control (QC) procedures.

• Calibrate laboratory instruments regularly.

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Result Reporting & Documentation

• Record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately.

• Report critical values promptly to physicians.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

• Keep accurate laboratory records and logs.

• Follow infection prevention and control protocols.

• Dispose of medical and laboratory waste safely.

• Monitor laboratory reagents and consumables.

• Prepare reagent consumption reports.

• Ensure proper storage of laboratory materials.

• Communicate effectively with physicians and nurses regarding test results.
