MEP Coordinator- Building Construction is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within a construction project. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the efficient and compliant installation of MEP systems, adhering to building codes and project specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examining MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications and identify potential clashes. 

• overseeing the installation of MEP systems, monitoring subcontractors, verifying compliance with building codes, and ensuring systems function as intended. 

• Coordinating the work of MEP subcontractors, scheduling their activities, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. 

• Ensuring that MEP systems are installed according to relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. 

• Coordinating the testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems, ensuring they are fully functional and ready for use. 

• Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, regarding MEP-related matters. 

• Contributing to the development of schedules and budgets for MEP work, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
