Role Description

This is a contract role for a Merchandiser / Sourcing & PO Management at Polyconcept Global Buying Services. The role is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and requires on-site work. The Merchandiser / Sourcing & PO Management will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to merchandising, sourcing, samples, production quality and purchase order management.

Qualifications

• +7 years of experience in Merchandising, Sourcing & PO Management

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Experience in vendor and order management

• Experience in Sampling

• Knowledge of supply chain management and production processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Previous experience working for international buyer

• Previous experience in the garment manufacturing industry

• Bachelor's degree in garment/Textile engineering, merchandising or related field in Business

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team

• Working for International brands/buying offices would be a plus
