We are looking for a dedicated Midwife to provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, and early postnatal care for women and their families.

Job Summary:

The Midwife Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Midwife to join our team at Silkroad General Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality maternity care, assist in deliveries, and ensure the well-being of mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal care, including monitoring the health and well-being of the mother and fetus

• Assist with normal vaginal deliveries and monitor the progress of labor

• Provide postpartum care, including monitoring the recovery of the mother and newborn

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patients' conditions and needs

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the healthcare team

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care

• Provide patient and family education and support

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSC) or equivalent nursing qualification

• Midwifery certification or advanced training in obstetric nursing

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maternal-child health or obstetric nursing

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the healthcare team

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

III. Minimum Specification Requirement

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

• BSC in Midwifery and licensed.

• Minimum of  2 years’ experience

• Female candidates will be considered

• Certificate on BLS and ACLS training. 

• Have good communication skill. 

• Have some computer skills.

• Language: Fluent in English (oral & written)

Job Requirements The position requires a BSc degree in Midwifery and a valid professional license, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in maternal and newborn healthcare, antenatal and postnatal care, labor and delivery services, and patient management. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required. Female candidates will be given preference.
