LIYANA HEALTH CARE PLC would like to recruit potential candidates for the position of BSc Nurse for its clinical service - Yanet Hospital in Hawassa

Position Summary:

We are looking for BSc Nurse to join our Nursing staff in providing excellent health care to our patients.

He/she is responsible for caring of the patients coming into our facility include tasks like creating and maintaining accurate patient records, administering medication and monitoring for side effects, recording vital signs, and reporting symptoms and changes in patient conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribing medical devices and related treatments.
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Administering non-intravenous medications.
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
•  Perform basic Neonatal Care after Delivery.
• Identifying neonate in respiratory distress.
• Administration and Calculation of HIV fluids for neonates

Job Requirements

Education/Qualification/ Work experience

• BSc degree in Nursing from recognized university.
• Special experience in Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ward and Adult ICU is advantageous for the competition and it is better to be certified by letter.
• Having training in Neonatal ICU and Adult ICU is more advantageous
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff.
• Having valid professional and updated license
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional, friendly attitude.
