Network of Charitable Associations of HIV Positives for Health and Development (NAPHAD) has been funded by USAID/Ethiopia, through to implement a three year USAID-HIV Prevention, Testing and Treatment Services for key Population Project in 36 SNUs of Bahir Dar City, East Gojjam, East Gojjam and Awi Zones of Amhara National Regional State.

Under the project titled ‘USAID-HIV Prevention, Testing and Treatment Services for key Population Project in Amhara’, NAPHAD is intended to recruit professionals for the following job position.

Position Title: - Nurse Counselor

Department: - Program

Report To: - DIC Coordinator

Qualification: - BSC in Public Health, Nursing

Experience: - Two years for BSC holder and four years for diploma in the area of his/her expertise work in HIV Programs. (NGO work experience on key population of HIV Preventation project is an advantage.

Technical Skills: - Basic Computer Skill

-       Demonstrated experience and certified on HIV testing algorithm.

-       Oral/Written Communication, Interpersonal, Organizational, Supervisory and Presentational skill.

-       Ability to contact and negotiate with representative of governments and funding agencies.

-       Ability to independently develop and implement the responsibilities stated in the job description.

-       Report writing and analytical skill.

-       Adhere to the stuff code of conduct and professional ethics.

8 months contract, renewable based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
