We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Head Nurse to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Head Nurse will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive work environment.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Supervise, manage, and support nursing staff in their daily duties

  • Ensure that patient care is delivered according to hospital policies, clinical standards, and best practices

  • Assign duties, create shift schedules, and manage staff rotations

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluations for nursing team members

  • Monitor patient care plans, treatment outcomes, and staff performance

  • Act as a liaison between nurses, physicians, patients, and families to ensure effective communication and care coordination

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field of study

  • Expereince: 5 - 10 years of work experience, out of which 2 years in a leadership role

  • Language: speaking Afaan Oromoo is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to manage a team and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations

  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems
