• Conduct Orientation and Training (everyday toolbox talks, etc) of Employees, with appropriate documentation, so that they can perform their work safely, what personal protective equipment is needed for each task and how this equipment must be properly used, stored, and maintained. 

•      Enforce Safe Work Practices and procedures and encouraging workers identify unsafe workplace conditions or hazards to avoid accidents 

• Correct Unsafe Conditions (including hygiene and sanitation, fire risks, machines’, housekeeping & maintenances, health risks, wastes disposal, etc) immediately and or take temporary precautionary measures timely to address the hazard.

•  Prevent existing Unsafe or Unhealthful Workplace Conditions or Hazards such as near miss incidents, minor and major injuries    

• Investigate Workplace Accidents and ensure that all occupationally injured employees are reported to the company medical service to identify hazardous conditions that lead to injuries and treat them. All facts and opinions regarding the cause of the accident must be compiled reviewed, signed, and submitted within 24 hours by the supervisor.

• Involve and contribute to the planning and implementation of the company SHE program activities 

• Prepare and submits periodically required SHE reports from the plant to the immediate supervisor

• Performs other activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor & SHE management

• BSc In Environmental Science or related fields with at least 2 years of proven experience as OHS Officer or relevant role with similar experience of three (2) years in FMCG industries or similar.

• At least ‘good’ English language knowledge for written, visual, oral communications
