The Well Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining oil and gas wells and associated production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. The role involves fieldwork, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance of oil and gas production wells.

  • Responsible for the collection, collation and entry of data from oil and gas production wells

  • Monitor the production status of oil and gas production wells and report according to the actual situation

  • Responsible for the production auxiliary preparation of oil and gas production wells

  • Monitor the status of oil and gas production wells and timely apply for material requirements when appropriate

Job Requirements

Education:

Petroleum Major that has a basic understanding of petroleum drilling and production 

be able to identify basic equipment such as gas production wellheads pressure gauges, flowmeters, etc 

understanding the most basic properties of crude oil and natural gas such as flammability and explosiveness

Language ability 

proficient in English, able to communicate daily work documents and be able to fill daily work reports after training

Computer Knowledge

 be able to use common office software (word excel) to complete simple report and form processing

Preference is given to those with more than 1 year of work experience in natural gas (oil) production, drilling and well testing or other related petroleum industry experience. 

Preference is also given to those with an electrical engineering background

Be able to adapt to night shift work. This is a veto option
