Job Summary
New Leaf Medical Complex is seeking a compassionate and competent Oncology Nurse to provide safe, professional, and patient-centred nursing care to oncology patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients.
Monitor patients’ conditions, vital signs, treatment responses, and clinical changes.
Administer medications and treatments safely according to prescribed protocols.
Support chemotherapy and other oncology-related procedures as assigned and within scope of practice.
Monitor and manage treatment-related side effects and promptly report abnormalities.
Provide patient and family education on treatment, medication, nutrition, and supportive care.
Maintain accurate and confidential nursing and patient records.
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, medication safety, and clinical protocols.
Work collaboratively with oncologists, physicians, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Provide compassionate emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families.
Qualifications & Experience
BSc Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
Valid professional nursing licence/registration.
1–3 years of relevant nursing experience.
Oncology/oncology nursing experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of chemotherapy safety, oncology patient care, and infection prevention is an advantage.
Strong communication, teamwork, compassion, attention to detail, and patient-care skills.
Additional Advantage
Previous experience in a hospital, cancer centre, or specialised oncology unit.
Training/certification in oncology nursing or chemotherapy administration.
Experience caring for patients receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or supportive oncology treatment.
