Duties and Responsibilities:

● Conduct operational audits as outlined in the audit plan, focusing on key areas such as process efficiency, risk management, and control effectiveness.
● Evaluate business processes and operations, identifying potential areas of inefficiency, waste, and non-compliance.
● Review and analyse operational data, policies, procedures, and documentation and assess the adequacy of controls.
● Prepare thorough and well-documented audit workpapers that detail audit procedures, findings, and conclusions.
● Assist in drafting audit reports, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
● Communicate audit findings and recommendations to the audit team and relevant department heads.
● Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas of concern within operational activities.
● Evaluate the effectiveness of process controls, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
● Conduct testing of operational controls to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related fields of study with a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related fields of study with a minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated experience.
