Position:
Organization: EASE Engineering PLC
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and optimizing all core project delivery activities across EASE Engineering’s EPC, PT, and Prefabrication business streams. This role ensures that projects are executed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget, maintaining the company’s technical excellence, client satisfaction, and profitability
Project Delivery & Execution
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure all projects are implemented as per approved schedules, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Supervise project managers and site teams, providing direction, performance feedback, and operational support.
Ensure alignment between Engineering, Procurement, and Construction functions for seamless project flow.
Review and approve project execution plans, progress reports, and resource allocation.
Operational Planning & Control
Develop annual and quarterly operational plans aligned with corporate strategy.
Monitor project KPIs (time, cost, quality, safety) and implement corrective measures where required.
Drive standardization of processes, reporting formats, and operational tools across projects.
Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and logistics to reduce waste and downtime.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance across all sites.
Ensure all work adheres to ISO, local regulations, and company QA/QC standards.
Lead periodic operational audits and implement continuous improvement measures.
Coordination & Leadership
Act as the central link between site operations, design, and office engineering teams.
Coordinate closely with Commercial, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure timely delivery and payment cycles.
Lead weekly operations review meetings and report to the executive management on key operational updates.
Build and develop capable project and site teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Strategic & Business Support
Support business development teams in planning project execution strategies during bidding and proposal stages.
Identify and mitigate project risks early through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to strategic initiatives, including prefabrication, process automation, and operational digitization.
Education: BSc in Civil or Construction Engineering (MSc preferred).
Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management or operations within EPC or construction firms; at least 3 years in a senior operations leadership role.
Proven experience managing multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of project scheduling, contract management, procurement, and cost control systems.
Familiarity with FIDIC and Ethiopian construction law advantageous.

High proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, and project management tools.
