Job Purpose
The Operations Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily moving and relocation operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely service delivery. The role involves scheduling moving teams, monitoring transportation activities, handling customer service issues, tracking move progress, preparing operational reports, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, movers, drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or with related field of study
Experience:
1–2 years of operations experience, preferably in moving, transportation, courier, or logistics.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or operations officer role.

Duties and Responsibilities
Operation Coordination
Monitor daily moving, packing, loading, transportation, and unloading activities.
Coordinate schedules for movers, drivers, and relocation crews.
Ensure household or office items are moved safely and in accordance with company standards.
Track delayed moves, damaged items, or service issues and take corrective action.
Follow up with moving teams and customers regarding relocation progress and schedules
Monitor daily operational performance and ensure service KPIs are achieved.
Manage operational risks and resolve service disruptions quickly by communicating with the operations manager.
Transport Operations Management
Coordinate daily road transport operations and vehicle dispatch activities.
Plan and optimize transport routes for efficiency and cost control.
Monitor vehicle movement and delivery performance.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods and shipments.
Respond to transportation delays, breakdowns, or operational issues.
Fleet Management
Ensure vehicles are properly utilized and maintained.
Record fuel usage, maintenance issues, and vehicle incidents.
Support driver allocation and route planning.
Customer Support
Ensure clear communication with customers regarding schedules and service expectations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and relocation escalations.
Provide move status updates and operational support to clients.
Reporting & Documentation Management
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Maintain accurate moving schedules, transportation, inventory, and dispatch records.
Analyze moving performance and identify operational improvements.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
