Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room (OR) Nurse to support surgical procedures and ensure safe and efficient operating room practices. The OR Nurse will play a critical role in preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring proper patient care before and after surgery.

Job Requirements

• Education: BSc Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OR Nurse or in a surgical unit.

Job Competencies

• Valid professional nursing license.

• Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, instruments, and surgical equipment before procedures.

• Ensure all surgical tools and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.

• Monitor patient condition and maintain patient safety during surgery.

• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.

• Assist with patient preparation before surgery and post-operative care.

• Document surgical procedures and patient information accurately.

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
