Job Summary

NLMC is seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to provide safe, developmentally appropriate, and family-centred nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess paediatric patients and monitor vital signs, growth, and clinical progress.

• Administer age-appropriate medications and treatments safely.

• Identify warning signs and escalate deteriorating conditions.

• Assist paediatricians with clinical procedures and patient management.

• Educate parents and caregivers on treatment, medication, nutrition, and recovery.

• Maintain accurate paediatric records and follow infection prevention protocols.

• Promote child safety, comfort, dignity, and family involvement in care.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc Degree in Nursing.

• Valid professional nursing licence.

• 3–5 years of relevant hospital experience, preferably in a paediatric ward or specialised paediatric facility.

• Direct experience caring for infants and children is strongly preferred.

• Paediatric nursing training or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
