About the Pharmacy Mall (First of Its Kind in Ethiopia)

MHCE is establishing Ethiopia’s first state-of-the-art Pharmacy Mall, a national Model Pharmacy Prototype that goes far beyond the traditional community pharmacy. This modern facility integrates:

• Advanced pharmaceutical services

• Full digitalization (e-prescriptions, real-time inventory, ERP)

• Financially sustainable enterprise model

• A national training center for pharmacy students & professionals

• A research and innovation platform

• 24/7 high-quality patient-centered care

We are seeking a highly qualified and visionary Pharmacy Mall Manager to lead this groundbreaking project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Pharmacy Mall.

• Ensure full compliance with EFDA, MoH, EPSS, and MHCE standards.

• Oversee dispensing, counseling, inventory, compounding, and advanced services.

• Lead digital transformation (POS, ERP, dashboards, e-prescription integration).

• Manage financial performance, pricing, cash flow, and sustainability.

• Supervise staff and ensure 24/7 service quality.

• Coordinate training programs and support research activities.

• Prepare reports and communicate with stakeholders (MHCE, SPHMMC, EFDA, EPSS).

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, Social/Administrative Pharmacy, or Health Supply Chain Management.
  (BPharm with strong managerial experience may be considered.)

• Must be a licensed pharmacist eligible to serve as the EFDA-registered Pharmacy Manager.

• Minimum 5 years professional experience, including leadership/management roles.

• Experience with digital pharmacy systems (POS, ERP, e-prescription) preferred.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
