 Production Scheduling:  

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels. 

• Plan and schedule production runs for various dairy products, considering factors such as product shelf life, production capacity, and equipment availability. 

• Adjust production schedules in response to changes in demand, raw material availability, or equipment breakdowns. 

• Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays and implement corrective actions. 

 Inventory Management:  

• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and minimize stockouts. 

• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations. 

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging materials. 

• Optimize inventory levels to minimize storage costs and waste. 

 Cross-Department Collaboration 

• Work closely with the Warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods. 

• Act as a link between operational departments and the commercial department 

• Participate in daily S&OP meetings with warehouse & sales teams. 

• Utilize forecasting tools and techniques to improve forecast accuracy. 

 Reporting and Analysis:  

• Generate regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy. 

• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 

• Prepare and present production plans and reports to management. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• Experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG. 

• Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles. 

• Proficiency in planning software and ERP systems. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.    

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.    

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.    

• Understanding of food safety, shelf life, and cold chain logistics 

• Experience in demand forecasting.
