- Responsible in directing and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures
- Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
- Developing a strategic and operational plans to processes and increase productivity and enhance performance
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times,
- Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
- Establish, monitor and maintain plant systems, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for plant production goals.
- Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, inventory, storage and shipping operations
- Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
- Prepare operating reports and budgets
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety regulations
- Ensure all compliance needs are met
- Report and track expenses to reduce costs
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Engineering, Business Management, Plant Science, and related fields
Experience required
- 8 year Proven industrial experience, out of which 3 years’ experience in same role within the food/beverage or similar industry
- Good understanding of field to factory operations, CI and successful implementation and management of Food Safety and Quality standards, GMP and food and feed safety regulations
- Knowledge of malting/Brewing processes highly appreciated
